I'm glad today is Wednesday because it means two things; the work week is halfway through and it's confession day.
I've been off the Grey's Anatomy train because I couldn't deal with the whole Derek situation. And I was at peace with my decision, then I saw a preview from last week and I have a burning desire to catch up. Grey's Anatomy has become a terrible addiction that I just can't quit.
Working later at night means I sleep in a little later in the morning and that means I miss the best part of the morning news and that makes me kind of sad.
I don't understand everyone's need to be an expert. For some reason everyone and their dog has decided they need to be an expert on something. Food, fitness, faith, parenting, crafting, technology...maybe if we all just concentrated on being experts on ourselves and what works for us we'd all be a little happier.
Along the same lines, WHY does every website/blog I visit now greet me with a popup asking me for my email address so I can sign myself up for either an insider newsletter or a bonus booklet of games or tips!?
I was completely unaware the Grammy's were taking place this week. When I started to see memes and posts about it on social media I didn't have a sweet clue who anyone was (except for my beloved TSwift), apparently there's a girl who wears a giant bow because she doesn't want people to see her face and I've totally been operating under the impression Kendrick Lamar is a basketball player. Pop Culture is not my strong point.
I'm trying super hard to reign in my overachiever when it comes to camp things but it's hard because over the top matchy-matchy stuff is my jam. So I have to keep reminding myself to tone it down. Maybe I should have considered a career as a party planner...except that I think people who pay exorbitant amounts of money to plan birthday parties are kind of crazy.
My current contract ends on March 31st because that's the end of the fiscal year but the contracts may or may not get extended. I am itching to find out if we'll be finished on March 31st or if we'll be extended into April/May mostly because my end date will dictate whether or not I get to go visit H. before camp season.
Now that I've got all that out of my mind, I'm off to get ready for work. If I was more motivated I'd go hunt down a photo to include, but right now I'd rather just hit 'publish' and call it done.

Confession Session
Monday I planned our Sparks meeting around the 'Being Healthy' badge. We talked about the food groups and cut out pictures of healthy food from the grocery flyers and glued it to paper plates. Then we did a "Healthy Snack Taste Test" and rated our favourite healthy snacks (tomatoes, cucumber, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds and raisins). In a classic moment of "do as I say not as I do" I ended up eating McDonalds's for supper because I forgot the bank closed at 5 and had to rush out of the house at 4:15 in order to put the cookie money into our account.
I don't understand the re-branding phenomenon. Or why everyone is blogging full time. My bloglovin' feed used to be full of travel tales, work mishaps, kid stories and glimpses into everyday life. Now it's overflowing with lessons on when to post on Instagram, where to find stock photos and how to edit photos so they get added to Pinterest. On the bright side there should be an abundance of job postings out in the world because from what I can tell everyone has abandoned their full time jobs in order to spend their days attracting followers and woo-ing brands.
I have a lot of hippies vegans vegetarians people with strong opinions about food in my life on my social media. And that's fine, because I too have some strong opinions about food. The problem is that my strong opinions on food are pretty much the opposite of whats on trend in the food world right now. Earlier this week when I saw one too many photos of a gluten/carb/dairy/meat/sugar free meal captioned with "listen to your body". I confess it took a lot of willpower not to participate in the reply/comment section with a snarky "my body enjoys a balanced diet that includes cheese".
I was super proud of myself for delegating a big part of Spark stuff this week...and then I found out that it wasn't done so I had to do it this morning. I'm trying really hard not to be angry about it, but I am because other people not doing their work and leaving me no other choice than to do it is not okay. Let's hope this was a one time incident and next month goes smoother.
I put my Project Life album together yesterday afternoon even though there's still a whole month and a half left before 2016 starts but I couldn't ignore the siren's call of the Michael's bag in my room any longer. And one of the nice stay at home mom's/professional scrapbooker suggest it on YouTube so I listened to her advice.
Can I quit my job to scrapbook? Will someone pay me to do that?
I'll leave with my last confession that is I'm not feeling motivated enough to find a photo to include in this post, which according to at least four posts I see on my blog feed today makes me a bad blogger. But I think I'll live so I'm not too worried about it.

Confession Session
I consider myself to be a 'soda snob' if I'm going to drink an unhealthy carbonated beverage it needs to be Coke or Pepsi. I won't waste the indulgence/calories on no name store band pop. On the flip side of that I think store brand potato chips are far superior to any of the big brand names.
If I see a preview for a blog post and I can tell that the post is about trying to sell me something, a lengthy list of things I'm doing wrong as a blogger or a bunch of photos of someone posing in the same outfit without any context I don't bother to read.
When clothes get a little hole in them or a stain I don't throw them out, I save them to wear at camp. Because camp clothes need to be clothes that you don't mind getting dirty/possibly ruined. One day last week I was getting ready for work, grabbed a pair of leggings to wear and neglected to notice/remember they were 'camp leggings'. I spent the whole day at work trying to bunch the leggings/have my sweater dress down far enough so that nobody noticed the hole in my pants. Lesson learned.
The other day I bought a new bathing suit for my trip and then I proceeded to go to A&W and eat a Teen Burger for lunch. I have no shame, or any real regrets.
I've been rewatching Full House on Netflix and I was blown away when I discovered Jesse was only 25/26 in the first few seasons of that show. He always seemed like such a grown up! But I'm 25 and I do not feel like a grown up 75% of the time.
My co-workers have started listening to the radio at work. It's the most pop music I've listened to in years and it's slowly killing my soul.
I'm so excited for my trip that I want to start packing like now. Except that it's still 37 days away and it seems a little too soon.
That's all I've got for today. I'm linking up my confessions with Melissa and so should you!

An Airing of Grievances
This is the first cold/flu season since I was a teenager that I haven't been around little kids. My work schedule doesn't allow me to volunteer in the evenings with Girl Guides and my job has nothing to do with children. The logical assumption would be that I would be in tip top health. That assumption is incorrect. The combination of central air system, carpeting and dusty files has resulted in me being a steady stream of sick this winter.
A sick me, is a cranky me which means I've got lots of complaining confessing to do this week.
I usually avoid taking medicine for common colds but I have a brutal cough so I've been taking cough medicine steady so as to not drive my co-workers crazy with the cough. Because I'm on a short term contract, I don't have any sick days so I'm forced to fill myself with cold meds and cough drops and anything else that might help me get through my shift.
At one point last week my purse resembled a small illegal pharmacy. Cold medication, sinus medication, cough syrup, cough drops, throat lozenges, regular Tylenol, Aleve...Don't worry, I wasn't taking it all at once, just enough to get me through work.

Why can't the powers that be make a cough medicine that doesn't taste absolutely disgusting? Cough drops come in all sorts of nice flavours but cough medicine comes in orange and cherry. Neither of which taste anything like oranges or cherries.
I am done with winter. It's cold and snowy and every time the sun comes out and I can start to see grass it storms again.
I would like to do yoga, go for long walks, drink tons of water and eat veggies and balanced meals. Except that it's cold outside so all I feel motivated to do is watch Netflix and eat #stormchips.
Last night I decided to have "Snacks for Supper". Instead of eating my usual chicken, rice & veggies I was feeling too sick to do any real food prep so I ate a banana, yogurt, granola bar, fruit snacks and crackers. It was a poor choice and I need to accept the fact I am someone who needs to eat actual meals.
Sometimes I feel like the only female between the ages of 20-40 who has never watched an episode of Girls and (based on the handful of interviews I've seen) finds Lena Dunham incredibly annoying.

This past weekend in the midst of being sick and feeling miserable J. made a comment about missing him and I then proceeded to burst into tears because it made me think about how much I miss. H. & R.. It was not a proud moment in my life or my relationship, but I haven't seen either of them since the end of August. As steady as our group iMessage is updated and as frequent as our Skype dates are, it's still hard to be apart. Especially when we experience exciting stuff or sad stuff or stuff in general. I miss my friends.
The last two mornings I've been forced out of bed to answer the phone only to have a call centre/scam artist greet me on the other end. This morning was my favourite after informing the person on the other end of the phone that I did not own any Windows operating systems, I use Apple products she hung up on me.
I didn't set any January goals or February goals. I don't plan to, the goal is to make it through winter.
In this moment making it through winter means drinking some coffee, eating some lunch, preparing something for supper and doing my very best not to cough up a lung.

Confessions
Today's post is brought to you by my desire to keep up the posting momentum, not having anything specific I want to share and a lot of random thoughts swirling around in my head.
I'll start off by confessing that in the last three weeks I've developed a love for Oprah. It started innocently enough by catching "Where Are They Now?" consistently Saturday mornings as I drank my coffee. And then I watched an episode of Super Soul Sunday with Timothy Shriver. And she's been doing a lot of press lately for Selma. And then I found myself watching OWN more and more, and now I find myself totally fascinated with her life and the urge to binge watch every episode ever.

J. is in the US right now and coming back early next week, but not in time for my birthday. Last night he informed me that he's been doing some research to determine how much Vanilla Coke he's legally allowed to take over the boarder. I have concerns that he's going to appear on an episode of Boarder Security being questioned as to why he is transporting Vanilla Coke in bulk. This is a confession because I realize I've been watching wayyyy too many episodes of Border Security/Boarder Wars.
I've been procrastinating on getting the oil changed in my car for no real reason other than I don't like running time sensitive errands before work and I enjoy not leaving the house on weekends. It will happen on Saturday though, I'm psyching myself up. Mostly I just want to cross it off my to do list.
I missed doing a year in review post for 2014 because I was busy not blogging when everyone else was posting theirs but now I kind of regret it. How late is too late to make a year in review post? Is it bad if it happens in February? No? Okay, good.
I got out of the habit of meal planning and it's starting to catch up with me. The daily game of "what am I going to bring to eat at work" is not fun. And on one occasion last week I ate gingerbread Oreos, half a bagel, a can of coke and called it a meal. I am working on stopping the madness though. Except that I have a huge craving for Wendy's that needs satisfying.
I got a new camera lens for Christmas and have only used it once. My only excuse is that it's too cold outside and the lightning inside isn't great. That's not actually an excuse, but that's what I'm offering up.
For my final confession I'll let all the blogging world know I'm ending this post so I can make garlic bread to eat while I watch My 600 lb Life. You can judge me it you wish, I'm judging myself.
Linking up with Melissa!

Confession Time
This is the logic I used yesterday morning when I was deciding what to eat for breakfast - "I don't really want to make anything, there aren't any bagels or English muffins…we have peanut butter cookies…people eat peanut butter on toast…eating a peanut butter cookie for breakfast is just as acceptable as eating peanut butter on toast."
The Little People Big World family drive me nuts. I used to really enjoy watching the show but like so many other TLC shows it totally went downhill and now I kind of watch to punch them all in the face.
I love the Duggars their beliefs fascinate me but I just don't understand not kissing/holding hands before marriage but saying "I love you". I don't know much about love but I think the physical side of things is just as crucial as the emotional side. Andy why on earth did Jim Bob hire Ben as his personal assistant?! Am I the only one that finds that a little weird?
My room is being painted tomorrow which means I'm being kicked out of it which I realize is for the greater good because my room will be painted but I like having my own space. Not having my own space for a day or two is going to make me one cranky lady.
I have a bruise on my chin because I tripped on my computer cord and hit my face off the plastic drawers beside my bed. It hurts when I touch it and I feel ridiculous for bruising my chin.
Time and time again I get myself all stressed out and worried and panic and doubt God…and then He pulls though and then I feel guilty because I should know better than to doubt Him.
Someone on my Facebook posted a selfie this week with the caption "job interview" and someone else commented "you look smokin' hot!"…was it wrong of me to judge them? Maybe I'm wrong but I don't think "smokin' hot"is the look you should be going for when you're being interview.
It's been a long time since I've had more than one cup of coffee a day, I usually have a cup in the morning and then drink tea in the afternoon and evening, but today for some reason I am craving a second cup. And I will probably give in to the craving.
I have no idea what Gone Girl is about and why I'm supposed to be interested in it.
And last, but not least. I am not excited for fall. I do not care about pumpkin spice. I demand summer. I like flip flops and bonfires and sunny days and green grass. Maybe my opinion of fall would be different if I lived in a place where summer was hotter and fall had a more refreshing feel but here in the east cost fall just means it's about to be winter. And I hate winter.

I Confess...
//I am way over due for a confession session so without further explanation here's a whole bunch of things I need to get off my chest...
//The other night I found a bag of gummy worms my Secret Friend gave me during the last week of camp. I proceeded to open the bag and eat so many of them that I gave myself a stomach ache.
//Adjusting to the real world after four months of camp is hard. I can't seem to sit at my computer to write end of summer reports for longer than 30 minutes before I have to wander around and check things out. I'm not sure if I'm expecting to see my cats doing arts & crafts in the dining room (I'm working from home) but I just can't stop doing rounds.
//I've been sleeping with a thousand blankets to stay warm even though if I closed my window and wore pants instead of PJ shorts.
//I struggle to sleep in a double bed by myself because there's just so much room and I'm a small person who does not need that much room to sleep. Especially when one considers my love of small spaces and sleeping jammed against the wall and into as many pillows/blankets as possible.
//Last week one of our tasks during camp shut down was to tie-dye some new curtains so that they'll be ready to go in the cabins next summer. In the process I stepped in some dye and the bottoms of my feet are still purple.
//I'm not ready for summer to be over. I can feel the cold creeping in and to combat the chill I've upped my coffee intake.
//I have major "forever alone"/single girl anxiety but every now and then I let myself get carried away pinning wedding ideas and baby photo sessions on my secret Pinterest boards. Lately I've been getting way carried away, but it's just so hard to resist the perfectly rustic/DIY wedding favours and babies in guitar cases.
//I just ate cookies for breakfast and justified it by promising I'd eat a big salad with lots of veggies for lunch.

Campfire Confessions #2
I had all the best intentions of posting yesterday but things were a bit chaotic around here so it didn't happen. In an attempt to keep up with my goal of posting my weekly confessions I'm making it happen now!
It has been 3.5 days since my last shower. It's on my "things to do today list", which probably means I'll get to it tomorrow. I would just much rather sleep than shower.
I poked my head out of the blog closet to a friend a few days ago and it was scary. Her first reaction was surprise followed by trying to guess what exactly it is I blog about and then a few minutes of trying to guess my blog name. Luckily she was nowhere close and the conversation ended when a good song came on the radio.
I love camp. I hate camp food. I was in such a good food groove before camp and now it's pretty much all out the window. This next break I'm going to buy some real groceries (not just bagels & bananas) and make some meals to freeze and eat during the next session.
At this very moment in time I'm contemplating curling up under my desk and sneaking in a nap before I have to set up for the next activity. I've already had 3 cups of coffee today (it's only 2 p.m.) and I'm still confident I could fall asleep standing up if given the opportunity.
It took forever to get the trampoline set up because the ground was still frozen (it's an in ground trampoline), now that it's all ready to go it's my favourite stress reliever. There's nothing better for working out aggression than jumping up and down on the trampoline for 20 minutes.
I've been eating a lot of bagels and I have sesame seeds stuck in between all the keys on my laptop.
I have three half-written posts in my drafts that I need to finish and publish. I was gone on a canoe course over our last session break so I didn't get a chance to finish them. I also didn't really get a break, which is probably a contributing factor to my level of exhaustion.

Campfire Confessions #1
Happy Day 5! Once camp season hits I generally have no idea what day of the week it is and if you ask me what day it is I can guarantee I will reply with "Day 3" or whatever camp day it happens to be. (For those of you who are unfamiliar with camp sessions are usually organized by days. At my camp Day 0 is the day that all staff come back to camp after a session break (the days between each group of campers) campers arrive on Day 1 and go home on Day 7. There are always a few days between Day 7 and Day 0 for staff to go home and get prepared for the next week.)
I have decided though that I will keep track of Wednesdays because that means it's time for Confessions with Kathy! And between living/working/eating/sleeping/breathing with the same group of people (mostly in their late teens and early 20s) I'm going to have somethings to
- I should probably be more stressed about the current staff situation, especially the lack of a head cook…but stressing really isn't going to fix anything so I can't be bothered. Finger's Crossed that sometime between now and June 2nd a cook materializes?
- I have been listening to a lot of Taylor Swift lately, it helps me deal with life.
- Daily "Let it Go" sing a longs have also become a coping mechanism.
- I started elaborate Pinterest inspired start of camp gifts for the head counsellors but ran out of time to finish them before camp started. I put the final touches on them last night and in typical Pinterest Project fashion they are far in superior to the original idea.
- It's been an emotional couple of days but I haven't hidden under my desk to cry yet and I've only ate gummy bears in bed once. I'm doing okay.
- Being surrounded by a bunch of 18 & 19 year old counsellors makes me feel old.
- Being surrounded by whiney people makes me cranky.
- Since moving to camp my coffee consumption has increased by 500%. By the end of the summer it will be the only thing flowing through my veins.
- I feel like I haven't written a real blog post in months. Everything is link ups and lists and random ramblings. Then again, I have no idea what constitutes a "real" blog post so you can be the judge.
- A few counsellors have walked by my office and clearly think I'm really busy doing work at 8:00 a.m., little do they know I'm just blogging.
I do need to wrap up this first confession session of the summer so I can finish planning my sessions on the Budget (Why we Don't Use Broom Sticks as Swords) and figure out how I'm going to stay warm for the rest of the day. Seriously Canada, Get your act together.

Weekly Confessions
It has been weeks months since I've logged into Google Analytics to obsess over my blog numbers. It wasn't a conscious decision but it's certainly been nice.
I love watching Four Weddings and pinning wedding favours on Pinterest as much as the next girl but I just cannot fathom the idea of spending large sums of money to get married. There is no way on God's green earth that I would ever spend thousands of dollars on a dress I'll wear for 8-10 hours. (And I kind of judge the people who do.)
Along the same lines, the money that goes into professional sports also blows my mind.
I just want to go explore things and take lots of pictures, but I'm SO self conscious of using my DSLR. I have no idea why, 90% of the time I whip out my iPhone at any given moment to snap a photo of a cookie or a flower or my cup of coffee. But the idea of taking out my 'real' camera and using it to capture the perfect shadow or sun stream makes me feel so nervous and I'm scared people are going to think I'm crazy.
Sometimes when I need a mood boost I search "Funniest Game Show Moments" and am instantly cured of my crankiness. Family Feud ones seem to be the best.
At the end of the summer the director & I give the counsellors a staff gift. It's usually something homemade and relates to an inside joke from the summer. Last year we made each of the counsellors a calendar. Despite our best efforts the calendars didn't get made until the night before the staff banquet (aka the last night of camp) and we were both exhausted and kept getting interrupted by various tasks. Long story short this is what the calendar looks like for the month of May. #fail
I need to step up my Twitter game. It's atrocious. I semi-regret creating a second Twitter account just for my blog. At the same time I don't because I would never tweet links to my blog posts on my personal Twitter (#closetblogger) but I never think to just tweet random things on my blog account.
I keep trying to think of more confessions just so that I can avoid doing work/getting dressed/packing etc. But I'm all out so instead I'm going to finish the last of my coffee and hop on over to another blog to read your confessions!

Friday Five
Do you ever have one of those weeks when you just feel like you've got a lot of stuff happening in your head? I'm having one of those weeks. So forgive me if there is no logical order or connection to my Friday Five and it doesn't even really feel like a Friday.
{one}
I miss youth ministry so bad it hurts. My current job is pretty amazing and I am so lucky to work with some pretty extraordinary people. Camp is what I love, but church camp is my passion. There really is added magic in the atmosphere when you're at a church camp. I've made some incredible friends working where I am now but they are different from the connections I've made at church camps. I miss worship being a daily part of the camp schedule and I cringe every time we sing a grace before a meal but replace "God" with "earth" to be inclusive. I get that we aren't a faith based camp and our campers come from all kinds of faith traditions but I want to be in a place where faith is celebrated and not awkwardly dealt with in the most PC way possible.
{two}
I went out for Frozen Yogurt with H. last night and realized when I got home I didn't take a picture of it to use on my blog. Part of me was annoyed with myself...another (larger) part was more annoyed that I even considered being annoyed because I didn't take a photo of something I was eating. Instead I was focused on eating and being with H. And if being in the moment instead of planning future blog posts I'm okay with that.
{three}
I'm starting to feel overwhelmed about the next few months. I really want to enjoy the summer but I know that I'm going to have to spend some (maybe a lot) of time this summer figuring out when I'm going to do at the end of September when my current contract ends. It's pretty unlikely it will get extended because that's when the grant money runs out and I don't want to put myself in a position where I'm jobless. I'm trying to be excited about it and convince myself to really step outside of my comfort zone and have an adventure, but it's a fake enthusiasm. My real goal is to find something, somewhere that pays well enough I can keep paying off my student loans and still have enough to live.
{four}

I committed to going to a work related thing all weekend. Starting tonight at 6:30 and ending at 2:00 on Sunday. I'm trying to keep an opened mind because it's an informal kind of thing...but in reality all I want to do is watch Friends reruns in my yoga pants.
{five}
Nothing annoys me more than having things on my to-do list that I can't 100% complete because I'm waiting on somebody else. And right now there are six things on my to-do list that I could check off...except that a document needs to be approved before I print it and a reference needs to get back to me before I can hire a girl, and someone else needs to get me the information to put into a manual before I can print that...I have a lot of patience when it comes to most things. Waiting on other people is not one of those things.
I'm typing this on my lunch break and I just realized I still have another 4 hours left of work. And then two hours in which to pack for the weekend, eat some sort of supper and mentally prepare to spend the whole weekend not doing weekend things. So I'm going to cut things short and see if there's any coffee in the break room before I get back to doing actual work.

Let It Goooo
I confess that I chose "Let it Go" as the title of this post so that I had an excuse to listen to the song while I write.
While we're on the topic..."Let it Go" is not my favourite song from Frozen. (Fixer Upper for the win!)
I should really go buy groceries after work...but I don't need groceries. There is enough food in my cupboards/fridge for me to eat the rest of the week. I may be eating perogies and spring rolls for supper Friday night but that's okay.
A month ago I signed up to go to this open house/networking type event that is sort of related to work, but not really. It starts Friday night at 6 and ends Sunday afternoon. It's either going to be really awesome or really not awesome.
I'm moving to camp for the summer in 22 days...I'm not even sure how time went by so fast. And I have no idea how I'm going to get everything checked off on my "Pre-Camp To Do List" in the next 22 days.
I have a major fast food craving happening but I'm trying to resist. Even though it's hard, because food and weird groceries.
I'm moving out of my apartment next weekend so I'm purposely not buying mass quantities of groceries that I will then either have to leave behind for the roomies or pack. And I draw the line at suitcases full of frozen chicken breasts and half full containers of sour cream.
I started writing this Tuesday night and now it's Wednesday evening and I still haven't hit publish. So I'm just going to keep on confessing.
Every week I tell myself I'm going to start eating breakfast. And every week 'eating breakfast' translates to coffee.
I am really freaking excited to watch Deadliest Catch while eating popcorn just as soon as I've waited an acceptable amount of time between supper and snacking.
For those of you dying to know…I did not go to the grocery store after work. I remembered I had pasta, broccoli and alfredo sauce…I can't promise perogies and spring rolls won't happen at some point.
Also, I'm pretty sure I love Kathy's link up so much because it's basically an excuse for me to ramble about my ridiculous thoughts, slap a button on and call it a post.

Things That Make Me Weird
Happy Wednesday! I have plans to go outside and appreciate spring weather after work...but there seems to be some sort of rain storm happening outside. The universe is against me. The good news is that tomorrow is really Friday! And soon I will be jumping in my car, with an iced coffee in the cup holder and Luke Bryan on my iPod headed far, far away from the city for a whole 3 nights.
Moving on to the main point of this post...things that make me weird when compared to most of my peers.
- There isn't a cell in my body that finds the idea of being massaged or touched by a random stranger inviting or relaxing. I have no interest in paying somebody to paint my toes or massage my back or apply goop to my face. Spending a day at a spa sounds like torture. Awkward, uncomfortable torture.
- I would rather sit alone in a cardboard box than spend a night at a crowded club and wasting money on expensive drinks. $7 for a drink?! That's like 1/4 of my grocery budget for a week. That's almost a full hour of work! Just for something you're going to drink and never see again!
- I tune out as soon as someone starts ranting about feminism and raising girls to be powerful career women. If that's what you want good for you. I'm hoping & praying the majority of my "prime working years" are spent raising babies. And if some of those babies want to be CEOs that's great. But if they want to be spouses and parents that's great too. I shouldn't be made to feel bad because I want to be a mom and not a business woman.
- Another contributing factor to my dislike of the bar scene is I hate rap/techno/dubstep/whatever you want to call it music. Why is there so much swearing? Why is it so loud? I much prefer my dance parties to involve 90's pop and Taylor Swift.
- I love names. And have very strong opinions on which names I do and don't like. Sometimes the only difference between a name I do and do not like is spelling. Isaiah = Good. Izaia = Terrible. Spell names correctly.
- I kind of want it to rain on my wedding day. I really want a photo of me in my wedding dress and rubber boots standing in a puddle. I also would like to get married outside (at camp). I'm not sure how well those two things mix.

Confess (And Be Healed?)
Airing all my dirty laundry last week for Humpday Confessions was just so much fun that I'm going to do it again this week!
Speaking of dirty laundry…my underwear dictates when I do laundry. Down to the last pair of clean undies? = Laundry Day!
Last week I went (at least) 48 Hours only drinking coffee & coke.
I have eaten cookies for supper at least once in the last six months.
I was going to do yoga tonight but then my roomies asked if I wanted to go out for frozen yogurt…so I'm going to do that instead.
I haven't finished emotionally processing the How I Met Your Mother finale.
I lack the will-power to ignore/delay responding when certain people message me, even if it's after 11 p.m. and I'm almost asleep.
I'm going for frozen yogurt in less than an hour but I'm still trying to justify eating a handful of chocolate covered almonds between now and then.
I finally met a coffee k-cup that I don't like. Unfortunately I paid $7 for the box of 12 and my budget conscious self won't let me buy new ones. It's going to be a long 2(ish) weeks of terrible coffee.
As per usual when I got home from work today I immediately changed into jogging pants & a hoodie. I'm now trying to figure out how I can make myself presentable enough to go out in public (i.e. frozen yogurt) with the least amount of effort.

Confessions
After weeks & weeks of reading Kathy's Hump Day Confessions and giggling to myself as I read everyone's posts I am finally joining in the fun!
Despite the weather (more on that tomorrow) summer is approaching. And with summer comes bathing suits. On two separate occasions this week I popped in a Yoga DVD and then sat at my desk and watched the DVD without actually getting up and moving. E for Effort?
I'm trying to grow parsley in a little flower pot that we made at Day Camp…it's been 2 weeks and there is no sign of anything growing. I'm not sure how much longer I'm going to continue to water dirt before I give up and accept it's not going to happen.
I finally watched the first two seasons of New Girl. I enjoyed the second season more than the first but honestly Jess kind of annoys me. I don't like one demential characters and Jess is pretty one demential.
I have been on a really strict budget since the start of 2014. No unnecessary purchases. I haven't spent money on anything other than gas, groceries, student loan payments, rent and a handful of suppers out since January. This week I got tickets with friends to see the Backstreet Boys in May and almost have myself convinced to splurge on a cute camera strap before summer.
I am also itching for a new blog design. But I don't have $100 of dollars to spend and right now I'm not willing to spend the time to do it myself. If anyone has suggestions of bloggers who do design/layouts in the $30-$40 dollar range? Ideally closer to $30. Or cheaper.
My camera is still at my parents house because I forgot to pack it when I moved. The only plus side to this is not having it has made me REALLY want to have it. So once we're reunited I will make up for lost time with lots & lots of photos.
I was crazy enough to think that I could pick up blogging right where I left it and am so disappointed to discover that is not the case. It's never been about the followers or comments but it is pretty disheartening to put time into blogging only to check stats and realize nobody read what you wrote.
I've been thinking about what to make for lunch since I finished eating breakfast at 9:30 this morning.
As soon as I decide what to make/eat for lunch I will move on to thinking about what to make for supper.
I am probably going to drink more than one cup of coffee today. And I'm okay with that. Snow days were made for blogging & multiple cups of coffee.

Midweek Confessions
Today I googled "Halloween Costumes for Cats". And when I didn't get the results I was looking for I searched it on Pinterest.
I enjoy listening the Jonas Brothers while driving in the car.
I decided I was going to make an effort to physically mail birthday cards to friends this year. There are currently 3 birthday cards sitting on my desk fully addressed and waiting to be sent. I just can't seem to remember to buy stamps and actually put them in the mail.
I spend far too much time refreshing social media hoping a certain someone will have posted something new since the last time I checked. (Which was approximately 3 minutes ago)
I've been watching Teen Mom 3.
I've been home from camp for just about two months now and I still haven't finished unpacking.
