CampusBooks & Operation Smile

It's always been important to me to help others and spend money wisely. So it killed me when I was in university to spend semester after semester spending hundreds of dollars purchasing textbooks only to have them sit on my shelf gathering dust once I was finished using them. When I heard about CampBookRentals.com's new program RentBack.com I knew I had to pass it along to my college going readers!

RentBack is a new initiative that allows students to rent they already own to other students! I absolutely love the concept. It's a win-win situation for all involved. The student renting their text books makes 2-4 times more money compared to what they would make through buy back options. For the student renting the textbooks not only are they saving money by renting instead of buying but they're also helping out a fellow student. I don't know about everybody else but I would much rather give my money to another student trying to make ends meet than the camps bookstore!

Besides the obvious perk of saving money (up to 90% compared to bookstore prices!) there are lots of great reasons to choose renting over buying. CampusBookRentals.com allows you to highlight the textbooks (a huge selling point for me!), offers flexible rental periods and offers free shipping both ways! This short video does a great job of explaining how the process works!

I mentioned earlier that it's important to me to help others when I'm spending money. I was thrilled to learn that not only does CampusBookRentals.com  support students with their RentBack.com initiative but they also have a long standing relationship with Operation Smile

Operation Smile is a fantastic organization that works to transform the lives of children around the world who were born with cleft lip, cleft palate and other facial deformities. Babies born which these kind of medical issues are unable to eat properly and 1 in 10 of those children will die before their first birthday. Babies who make it into childhood face continued eating problems, are unable to communicate and in many case are rejected and shunned by society. When I say Operation Smile transforms lives I'm not exaggerating. Just look at this smiling face!!

Via Operation Smile
I love that Operation Smile has a spot on their website called The Smile Blog where you can read all about the work being done and the lives being changed! How awesome is that! Not only are you helping support this program by using CampusBookRentals.com but you can check out the Operation Smile blog to really see how the donations are being used!

Anyone in the market for textbooks should definitely check out CampusBookRenals.com and RentBack.com
